May 2026 - Present

Currently spending 5-8 hours/week bartending events. As a queer individual this job brings me a lot of community engagement and social fulfillment. I also took the initiative to add 4 seasonal cocktails to the menu in a way that helps lower costs and increase efficiency for staff. I am a community builder at heart and this is a skill I incorporate into any workplace I find myself in.

June 2024 - Present (working occasional weekend shifts)

Managed weekly 50-200 person events such as wedding parties, live music, and agave tastings - often taking initiative during times of uncertainty. Developed shift duty, onboarding, and continued training processes for staff in addition to batching protocols and seasonal menus.

This job showcases my ability to adapt to new roles quickly. I started with minimal knowledge of agave spirits, but was able to manage the bar independently within 2 weeks. Soon after became the point lead on cocktail and spirit recommendations for guests.

September 2025 - February 2026

This job strengthened my ability to stay focused and productive while shifting quickly between downtime and rush hours. I managed time sensitive tasks calmly, while communicating effectively with 5 other busy bartenders. I also prioritized tasks based on context and wasn’t afraid to take on less desirable projects that needed to be done. I am proud to be a team member others can rely on.

November 2022 - May 2024

I quickly adapted to a role that required constant multi-tasking - mixing craft cocktails, explaining the rules of a game, communicating with other staff members, all while managing inventory. I learned to rely on my team, communicate needs, and give/receive feedback under pressure. I streamlined closing duties to cut down closing time by 30 minutes.

July 2021 - November 2022

Converted a sprinter van from the ground up with my partner and traveled North America. Completed major home renovations and began considering a career shift into bartending.

April 2019 - July 2021

Worked with over 150 clients from on a wide array of website designs. Handled all project management, website build-out, content resourcing, custom design features from start to finish.

Conducted platform on-boarding and post-launch training ranging from editing content, comprehending custom code applications, domain name management, and building client confidence.

Took on a 25% increase in workload when a team member left, and was able to meet all deadlines. Communicated and consistently stayed ahead of manageable deadlines, maintained client contact and expectations, and accepted additional tasks when appropriate.

January 2018 - April 2019

Independently created and maintained social media graphics, printed materials, product packaging and scratch off maps using Adobe Creative Suite. Led branding initiatives to increase online (Amazon, Shopify) and local, in-person (SXSW Marketplace Showcase) presence to improve coherency across platforms.
